The featured guest on this evening’s edition of The Mac Show, the Internet radio show about all things Mac, is Tom Cheek, manager of the Mac.Tucows.Com shareware site. In fact, Cheek will be a regular guest in the coming months, reviewing shareware for The Mac Show.
Tonight’s special guest will be User Group Correspondent Chuck Joiner. He’ll have an interview with Gail Glore, president of Wired Women, a member of the User Group Advisory Board and content coordinator for User Group University. Glore will discuss UGU, what it is, some of the sessions being offered, why every user group leader should try to attend, and why it’s the perfect way to spend the day before Macworld New York. Joiner will also have the monthly user group-only give-away, with prizes from Aladdin and Casady & Greene.
In the Tech Tips segment, sponsored by Micromat’s Tech Tool Pro 3, host/producer Shawn King will welcome Valerie McLean, vice president of the Vancouver Better Business Bureau. She’ll discuss ways of protecting yourself on the Internet.
Mark Stevens will have Mac Media Pro, Peter Cohen of MacCentral.com will have the gaming news, and the swag bag will be wide open. The Mac Show, in cooperation with IDG Expo, is giving away 10 Expo Super Passes (valued at US$1,200 each) for next month’s Macworld New York.
