There’s only two weeks left to pre-register for Macworld New York, which will run July 17-20 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Pre-register at the show’s registration site and you can save US$150.
There are three kinds of passes: the Super Pass, the Macworld/Pro Conference Pass, the Macworld/Users 1, Macworld/Users II, Workshop, and Exhibits Only, with pre-registration prices ranging from $15 to $1,195. Keynotes and feature presentations are only open to Super Pass, Pro Conference, Users 1 & 11, and Workshop attendees with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
A new addition to the expo, Birds of a Feather, is open to all Macworld/Pro and Macworld/Users Conference attendees). Held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, Birds of a Feather Meetings (BOFs) are casual, informal discussions where you can meet other Mac users.
Macworld New York 2001 will offer five conference packages, a new Macintosh Business Solutions Center, MacBeginnings, Special Interest Boulevard, MacTech Central, Central Park Internet Cafe, Apple Solution Experts, guided tours, the Macintosh Gaming Area, and the Digital Art Contest & Gallery.
