CTM Development has released a new version of PowerMail, its e-mail application for the Mac. The new version, 3.0.9v2 is a free upgrade for registered PowerMail 3.0 users, and can be downloaded from CTM’s Web site.
PowerMail is the company’s flagship e-mail application. Developed as an alternative to Microsoft Outlook Express and Entourage, as well as Qualcomm’s Eudora, PowerMail sports high performance search functions, compatibility with Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew and other non-Roman languages, and what the company calls “a state-of-the-art Mac-like design.”
PowerMail 3.0.9v2 sports native support for Mac OS X with a Carbon version, and offers new features and a dozen bug fixes, according to the company.
PowerMail has been developed to work with Mac OS 8.5 and above. The software can be downloaded and evaluated as a 30-day free trial prior to purchase, as well. (Mac OS X and other localized language versions can be downloaded from the Web site as well — click the More info link below for details.)
