LAJ Design — a company that specializes in Web design, graphic design, and programming — has a new product: BatControls, which lets you schedule multiple (up to four) commands (copy, paste, etc.) or script files to execute on a user specified time period.
It’s customizable for four simultaneous timers to run. It has two modes shell (default) and Launch Only, according to MacTech magazine. In shell mode all commands are run like you are in command or in terminal. The results from the execution are copied into the log.
In Launch Only mode, the user specifies a file and Batcontrols will launch it. The registered user gets the ability to save the configuration and to select autostart.
BatControls 1.0 requires a Power Mac running Mac OS version 8.0 or higher (including Mac OS X) and at least 32MB of RAM. There’s a download for the Mac OS X version and one for Mac OS 8/9.
