Yesterday we attempted to explain Adobe’s upgrade policy, but due to miscommunication and misunderstandings, we apparently didn’t offer the complete picture.
We said that customers are eligible to upgrade from previous versions of the product, but not earlier versions. This is true — for some, but not all, Adobe products. In fact, generally speaking, most of Adobe’s products are upgradeable from earlier versions, according to company officials.
There are, however, exceptions in which an upgrade is only available from the most recent version. For the most current upgrade information, customers should refer to Adobe’s Upgrade Center.
