Glass Bead Software has updated SnapMail, its intra-office Mac messaging software, to version 3.0.4. This maintenance release fixes a number of small bugs and increases stability.
SnapMail is an intra-office chat, messaging and communication application. Using peer-to-peer technology, SnapMail sends messages, files, and voice mail instantly and keeps all messages and documents in-house. It doesn’t require a mail server, Internet connection, or any administration. SnapMail, which runs on all Mac operating systems from 7.5 to OS X, boasts voice messaging, a bulletin board system, reminder messages, color icons, a spelling checker, and more.
Snap Mail provides “seamless and easy collaboration to small and large workgroups without difficult-to-configure server software on expensive hardware,” the gang at Glass Bead said. The company has promised to provide “compelling upgrades to Snap Mail” that support core Mac OS technologies.
SnapMail 3.0.2 is available for download at the Glass Bead Web site. It requires just 1MB of RAM.
