The featured guest on tonight’s edition of The Mac Show, the Internet radio show about all things Mac, will be Chuck Goolsbee, vice president of technical operations at Digital Forest.
Digital Forest is a database and application-hosting provider. Goolsbee will be discussing servers, Filemaker Pro databases, and Mac OS X in a networked environment.
Tonight’s special guest will be Larry Loeb, columnist for Internet Week. Loeb wrote an article this week regarding Mac OS X and its potential to move Wintel users to the Mac platform. See our June 18 article for details.
In the Tech Tips segment, sponsored by Micromat’s Tech Tool Pro 3, King will welcome Jeff Baudine, CEO of Micromat, who will discuss his company’s latest utility, Drive X for OS X. In the Mac Media Pro segment, Mark Stevens, The Mac Show’s executive producer, will talk to Brian Maffitt, creative director of Total Training, which offers instructional videos for Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
My MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will discuss the latest Mac gaming news. And he’ll talk with Mike Rogers, president of Aspyr Media, about the company’s latest releases.
The Mac Show will have another segment of Mac Basics. They’ll also be giving away copies of Macromedia Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio, Gene Steinberg’s “Mac OS X Little Black Book,” and the last round of Macworld Expo Super Passes.
