Apple and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry are teaming up for a one-day course on July 27. The course will be geared toward higher education faculty and system administrators in the scientific field who want to learn the latest techniques and technology for integrating digital multimedia into their curriculum. There will be two parallel themes running throughout the seminar.
Session 1 is designed to help the novice developer or educator become more familiar with incorporating multimedia into course curriculum. Session 2 is geared toward the experienced participant and/or the technical support team. Information provided in this series of lectures will be more detailed and technical. Participants in this section should have a good working knowledge of Web design and media selections as well as content design and development.
There will also be workshops that will cover such topics as Webcasting, Web integration, production & editing, DVD, and QuickTime. They’re limited to 50 people each and cost US$100 per person. Details can be found at the seminar/workshop Web site. The University of Michigan School of Dentistry is located at 1011 N. University Avenue in Ann Arbor, MI.
