SSL Socket, a REALbasic plug-in from Essentrix, has been updated to version 2.0 and now supports Carbon (Mac OS X) applications.
With SSL Socket you can connect to and communicate with Secure Servers via the Secure Socket Layer for encrypted data transfers. With the latest version, you can also now demo it up to eight times per session, instead of just one as in version 1.0. The price has also been lowered to US$60.
“SSL Socket works just like a normal socket, so integration into your current projects is seamless,” said Tristan Perich of Essentrix. ” Documentation is included on both the Web page and the download.
A free demo is available from the Essentrix Web site. REALbasic is the development environment from REAL Software.
