Gideon Softworks, which makes Mac OS X applications, has released xBack 0.3, a utility that lets you display screen savers on your desktop while you work.
xBack is free. You can download it (a 271 k file) at the product Web site.
Gideon also makes such Mac OS X products as: Get Info, a US$10 utility that lets you set file permissions, change the owner of a file, and change the group of a file; Snard, a $10 Dock-based launcher; and SSHD Admin a free tool that lets you configure and use the Secure Shell Daemon.
