Troi Automatisering has made available Troi Coding Plug-in 1.6, for FileMaker Pro 5.5 for Mac OS, Mac OS X and Windows. The plug-in is a tool for securing FileMaker data, exporting or e-mailing your data without risk and importing safely back into FileMaker, according to the folks at Troi Automatisering.
“This is our fourth plug-in converted to FileMaker 5.5 and ported to Mac OS X,” Peter Baanen, company president told MacTech magazine. “This opens new possibilities for creating secure FileMaker databases on Mac OS X.”
The Troi Coding Plug-in 1.6 has purportedly been tested with FileMaker 5.5 and made compatible for Mac OS X. The Mac OS version of the plug-in is now a “Super Fat” plug-in that will run on Mac OS 8, 9 and Mac OS X. The latest version also has an improved version function; it can now show the Flash Dialog and return a version build number.
A fully functional version of Troi Coding Plug-in 1.6 is available for downloading at Troi’s Web site. The plug-in costs US$39 per user. Product updates from earlier versions are free.
