Final Draft Inc. has announced the release of Final Draft AV 1.1. The new version of the scriptwriting software has been Carbonized to support Mac OS X, and features new reformatting and customizable elements.
Final Draft AV is a word processor specifically tailored for commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, music videos, radio spots, news, infomercials, speeches, corporate presentations and any other type of communication that benefits from a dual-column, audio-video style script format. The software features in an integrated spellchecker and thesaurus, import and export capabilities and 100 percent cross-platform support (Windows and Mac OS versions are included on the same disc). Final Draft AV built on the same underpinnings as Final Draft, the popular movie screenplay word processor.
New enhancements made to Final Draft AV 1.1 also include customization over script elements, new insert scene and join scenes command, a new linear format, customizable layouts, better controls over the Header and other improvements.
System requirements for Final Draft AV 1.1 call for a PowerPC-based Mac, Mac OS 8.6 or later (including Mac OS X), 32MB RAM, 20MB available HD space, CD-ROM drive.
