The Macintosh Developer Center, an online resource for Mac developers, has updated versions of its utilities Droplet Builder and SysMenu. Plus, there’s a new Resources section on their Web site, according to MacTech magazine.
TMDC Droplet Builder is a tool for creating droplets that modify certain file attributes such as the Mac Type, Creator, Name Lock, and more when files or folders are dropped on them. Droplet Builder lets users create unlimited droplets for free. The new version 2.0 has been Carbonized, adding support for Mac OS X.
TMDC SysMenu is a utility for launching applications, opening documents and controlling various aspects of your computer. The new version 1.0.3 is a minor bug-fix release. Featuring submenus, plug-ins, customizable options and much more, SysMenu lets you launch any application, document, control panel or use one of many plug-ins in any application, including the Finder. TMDC SysMenu is shareware and costs US$15 — a fully working demo is available to download.
The new Resources section on The Macintosh Developer Center’s Web site focuses on shareware and freeware developers who wish to market their work.
