Apple today released an update to Mac OS X Server, bringing the OS to version 10.0.4. The update can be downloaded from Apple’s download site or via the Software Update Control Panel.
The 10.0.4 Server Update delivers reliability improvements for Apple File Protocol connections, printer sharing, FTP, mail and directory services, according to the documentation provided by Apple. It also includes MySQL and security updates to Samba.
In addition, this update improves migration and administration of users and groups, home directory settings and Macintosh Manager accounts.
A requirement to install this update is that you already have Mac OS X 10.0.4 update installed on your machine. Apple also provides detailed instructions in the ReadMe on how to update if you run into problems.
