Trak-It Solutions has released version 9.50 of its Macintosh HR [Human Resource] system, which the company says now offers feature parity with the Windows edition.
The company has been providing HR management software and service to the Mac community since 1988. This new edition of !Trak-It HR for the Macintosh includes the Small Business Edition for companies with fewer than 100 employees, as well as the Standard Edition. An Attendance Tracking module is included in both editions.
A new Grievance Tracking system is being introduced as either an option to HR or as a standalone version. There’s also the Link option, which links to payroll and time clocks. Macintosh HR 9.50 is multi-user, allowing multiple simultaneous users to access the employee data. It also supports simultaneous data access from both Mac and Windows systems.
Some of the new features now available for the Macintosh HR Standard Edition are asset tracking; training tracking; expanded job tracking with on-line reviews; stepped salary grades; pay deduction tracking; support and garnishment tracking; unlimited medical history tracking; over 100 new reports (bringing the total to almost 300); and online job reviews.
The !Trak-It HR Small Business Edition single user version is US$495, while the Standard Edition starts at $995. !Trak-It Solutions is offering a 15 percent discount off the list prices for new Mac systems licensed before Sept. 1. More info and a free trial version can be found at the company Web site.
The only system requirements listed are a Power Mac with G3 or G4 processor. The recommended Mac operating system seems to be Mac OS 8.x and higher. No word on a Mac OS X version of the Macintosh HR system.
