MacLinkPlus Deluxe 13 for the Macintosh is now available from DataViz — and it’s been optimized for Mac OS X. It includes support for the latest versions of Microsoft Word and Excel, as found in Office 2001 and Office XP.
MacLinkPlus Deluxe lets you open, view, decode, decompress and translate files between different programs and platforms, including word processors, spreadsheets, databases and graphics files. Version 13 sports a new Aqua look and feel to match the aesthetics of Mac OS X. It also provides easy access to the application via the Mac OS X Dock and exhibits increased stability in the OS X protected memory environment, according to Scott Thomas, product manager.
“As more and more Mac users upgrade to Mac OS X, it is important for us to provide our customers with a version of MacLinkPlus that takes full advantage of the new OS and its Aqua interface, as well as the latest translators,” he said.
Although MacLinkPlus Deluxe 13 was created to take advantage of Mac OS X, it can be used with Mac OS 8.1 or higher. You can also use MacLinkPlus Deluxe 12 in Mac OS X’s Classic mode.
MacLinkPlus Deluxe 13 has a street price of US$99.95.
