The featured guest on this evening’s edition of
The Mac Show, the Internet radio show about all things Mac, is Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus. The Apple columnist-author will offer his thoughts on Apple’s accomplishments over the past six months and what he thinks they might do in the future.
The special guest will be Stan Flack, publisher of
MacMinute. He and Mac Show host/producer Shawn King will also discuss what might happen at Macworld Expo next week.
In the Tech Tips segment, sponsored by Micromat’s Tech Tool Pro 3, King will talk to Ed McGarr vice president of marketing and sales for Sorenson Media, the folks who specialize in video compression and Web streaming services. Last week Sorenson released Sorenson Video 3 exclusively for QuickTime. Sorenson Video is a QuickTime compatible video codec designed for developers of applications or Web sites that require compressed video segments.
Peter Cohen of MacCentral will have Mac gaming news. Mark Stevens will be on hand with the Mac Media Pro segment. Ron Fairbairn will be back with Mac Basics, and King will offer the final segment of his Macworld Expo Special Report.
You can catch The Mac Show every Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm (Pacific). Plus, you can join in the Chat Rooms on the
World Without Borders site or on the dal.net servers on IRC in the #macshowlive Channel.
