Mac upgrade manufacturer PowerLogix has announced special Macworld Expo prices through Small Dog Electronics. The special pricing is in effect now, and products can be found at Small Dog’s website.
The following is a breakdown of PowerLogix’ show specials. All upgrades have a 1MB backside cache that runs at one-half of the upgrade’s CPU speed unless otherwise noted.
PowerForce G3 (used to upgrade Power Macintosh 7300 through 9600 models and some Power Computing and UMAX clones):
PowerForce G4 (upgrades the same models as the PowerForce G3, except that the PowerTower, PowerCenter, and PowerCenter Pro models from Power Computing are incompatible)
PowerForce G3 ZIF (used to upgrade beige G3s, Blue and White G3s, the All-in-one educational G3 model and PowerLogix’ ZForce ZIF Adapter)
PowerForce G4 ZIF (used in the same models as above and early ZIF based G4 ‘yikes’ towers)
BlueChip G3 (used to upgrade PowerBook G3s)
