Bare Bones Software has announced the release of a new version of Super Get Info, its file and folder info utility for Mac OS X. According to Bare Bones Software, the application provides more and better features than Mac OS X Finder’s “Show Info” command.
Super Get Info enables you to open one info window for each selected Finder item, enabling you to view and edit multiple selected items discretely. You can also view and change Mac OS type and creator codes, edit and view the Unix owner, group and permission settings, and change a file’s creation and modification dates.
Super Get Info version 1.0.1 gains the following improvements:
Released as commercial software, Super Get Info costs US$20. The software is also available as a fully functional demo version with a 14-day expiration. Super Get Info requires Mac OS X 10.0 or later. An updater for version 1.0 is available for download.
