Pierre-Olivier Latour and Didier Larue have collaborated to create a new personal finance management application for the Macintosh. The new shareware application is called Hold-Up, and it works with Mac OS 8.5 through Mac OS X (it’s been Carbonized).
The software enables you to manage several different accounts, enter an unlimited number of transactions, create scheduled transactions, define categories and payment types, and much more.
The software’s creators are particularly proud of Hold-Up’s support for filters, the ability to edit multiple transactions in one dialog, automatic transaction name completion, dynamic notes, quick search and support for skins.
Hold-Up costs US$20 for the basic version. A pro version is also available for $30 (the pro version sports more features than the basic version). A demo is also available for download; visit the Hold-Up Web site for more details.
