NetObjects, an IBM affiliate and provider of e-business solutions and services, says its NetObjects Matrix will be bundled with two Hewlett-Packard digital imaging products: the HP Scanjet 5470c and 5490c color scanners.
Last month NetObjects announced that it would support Mac OS X with its new NetObjects Matrix platform. NetObjects Matrix is a Java-based technology developed for service providers that enables their small business users to integrate third party services into a unified Web site creation architecture. NetObjects Matrix Web services are delivered by hardware companies, ISPs (Internet service providers), hosting companies, telecommunications companies and major brands that license the NetObjects Matrix technology.
“Combining the power and ease of use of NetObjects Web site building technology with HP digital imaging products will help our small office and home office customers build a professional quality Web presence in minutes,” said Mary Peery, vice president and general manager of HP Digital Imaging, in a statement.
Built using Java technology, the NetObjects Matrix Platform provides an open architecture that makes it easy to integrate Web Services based on differing standards, she said.
