Willow introduces slipcases for TiPBs, iBooks

Willow Design has introduced three new slipcases to make “slip, sliding away” easier for iBook and Titanium PowerBook owners, President Nigel Peck told MacCentral.

The Titanium slipcase (pictured right) features a briefcase and end opening orientation. Willow’s first iBook slipcase has a briefcase-oriented opening.

“The slipcases don’t compromise on protection despite their compact size,” Peck said. “Each slipcase features thick, half-inch ‘gushy’ foam throughout, backed up by corrugated plastic reinforcement on all sides and very tight foam tolerances. The tight tolerances make for a surprisingly solid case.”

All the slips, which cost US$60, feature removable foam padded wrap handle around the web handle that’s riveted through a high-density polyethylene backing plate for extra security. Each slipcase comes with a foam padded, contoured shoulder strap.

“The reaction from European and Pacific customers has been particularly great” Peck said. “Because of the small size and weight, we’re able to special delivery mail the slipcases to almost anywhere in the world for around US $24. The customer then only has to worry about their country’s import duties or taxes.”

The new slipcases are covered by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and craftsmanship.
