German Mac game publisher e.p.i.c interactive has offered a status update on several new Mac game projects the company has released and now has in the works.
e.p.i.c. General Manager Thomas Steiding reports that his company’s conversion of the outer space cartoon adventure game The Feeble Files is now shipping. In this game, you assume the role of a fumbling alien who unwittingly serves as the center of a revolt against his repressive society.
Knights and Merchants is now in final beta testing — Steiding said that e.p.i.c. will have the game ready by the end of August. This title is a real-time strategy game that combines both economic and military aspects, as you seek to dominate a medieval society. Steiding also said that a demo version of the game would be forthcoming.
Steiding admitted that e.p.i.c.’s Mac conversion of the role-playing strategy game Gorky 17 has hit some snags, but the game is finally in beta testing. Gorky 17 is expected to be finished this September.
Last, but not least, e.p.i.c. is hard at work on the Earth 2140 Mission Pack, an add-on for the real-time strategy game it has already released for the Mac. The new mission pack adds 80 more missions to the original release and incorporates new units, buildings and terrain elements.
