The folks at Seapine Software say they’re committed to providing the best bug tracking solution for Mac developers and are actively working on porting TestTrack Pro to Mac OS and OS X.
TestTrack Pro is a scalable, client/server version of TestTrack, offering ODBC database access, XML import/export, customizable fields, high scalability, server support for, up to now, Windows, Linux and Solaris, access from Windows and Web browser-based clients, SoloSubmit and more. It also includes SoloBug bug reporting. Pricing starts at US$229 for a dedicated license.
SoloBug has already been Carbonized and work is proceeding on porting the Admin Utility and the TestTrack Pro Server. TestTrack Pro Server will be Mac OS X native and based on TestTrack Pro 4.0, according to Seapine. SoloBug and Admin Utility will be Carbon compliant and run under Mac OS 8.5 through Mac OS X.
The company is also considering porting their Windows client to the traditional Mac OS, as well as Mac OS X. If you’d like to voice your support for any and all of these products drop Seapine an e-mail.
