Last chance on colorful Apolla speakers, says Pele

If you’re looking for external speakers to match your colorful older iBook or iMac model, now may be one of your last chances. Apple’s ever-changing iMac color scheme caused accessories maker PELE Enterprises, LLC to discontinue its line of color-coordinated Apolla speakers, but the inexpensive speakers are still available in very limited quantities at discounted prices from US$19.99 to US$29.99 per pair, according to the company.

Four models are still left — Blueberry, Grape, Lime and Strawberry. The Apolla speakers provide 8 watts of power through full-range drivers, and work on virtually any Mac that includes an audio out port (they connect using the 1/8″ speaker mini-jack built into most Mac models).
