Schiller to keynote Seybold with Jobs intro via satellite
By Jim Dalrymple
A representative from Apple confirmed for MacCentral today that Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller will deliver the keynote address at the upcoming Seybold Seminars being held in San Francisco from September 24-28.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs will introduce Schiller via satellite from an undisclosed location. The Apple spokesperson would not comment on whether Jobs would deliver the opening keynote address in Paris.
Apple Expo Paris is being held from September 26-30 — the same week as Seybold. At last year’s event, Jobs announced that Mac OS X public beta would be available on CD for purchase; the Radeon graphics accelerator card availability as a build-to-order option; and two new iBook models.
For the past couple of years, Phil Schiller has been responsible for the keynote address at Apple’s QuickTime Live! Conferences.
There was no word on whether the keynote address would be Webcast live via QuickTime
