If you’re into digital video — which is, after all, a crucial component of Apple’s “digital hub” vision — you may be interested in Verbatim’s colorful Pocket CD-Rs, which are now available in 5- and 10-packs.
The small Pocket CD-Rs with a 3-inch diameter — about half the size of standard CDs — were developed in response to the flourishing market of camcorder and ultra-compact personal CD/MP3 players, Verbatim spokesperson Andy Marken said. Verbatim’s 3-inch CD-Rs provide a method for distributing photos and videos, as well as marketing materials. They offer 185MB of storage, enough to record more than 150 photos, 21 minutes of video, or up to three hours of MP3 music.
The Pocket CD-Rs come in blueberry, tangerine, avocado, grape and ruby colors and are packaged in ultra-portable slim cases with matching colors. The 16x discs can be recorded and played back in most tray-loading CD drives and players, as well as a number of audio/video digital devices.
Verbatim’s Pocket CD-Rs come with color-matched ultra-slim jewel cases. The manufacters suggested retail pricing is $14.99 for the 5-pack Pocket CD-Rs and $24.99 for the 10-pack.
