More session materials from the Macworld New York User Group University are now available, and several new photo links have been added to the Macworld Expo/User Group University Photo & Video Gallery, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center, the resource site for Mac User Groups (MUGs).
The User Group section of Apple’s Web site has been updated with pictures and articles about Mac user groups (MUG) activities and events at the recent trade show. User Group University New York was a one day conference for Apple user group leaders and featured various sessions.
In other MUG news, over 11 Mac user groups, Apple staff, media and the public converged on Telford, PA, Aug. 2 for a stop on Apple’s Mac OS X Tour.
The event — coordinated by the Bux-Mont Macintosh Users Group, with the help of Tri-State MUG Team and Apple — attracted a capacity crowd, some bringing their own lawn chairs and benches, to the Telford Community Center located about 20 miles north of Philadelphia.
Members of MUGs from Princeton, NJ, Paoli, PA, Medford Lakes, NJ, Horsham, PA, Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, Manayunk/Philadelphia, PA, Delaware, Maryland, New York and others as well as Bux-Mont MUG’s own members participated.
