Could it be the most autographed iMac in the world? Possibly. Check out the iMac from 1010TV.com, which is certainly one of the most autographed items in the history of drag racing.
It’s already been autographed by John Force, Don Prudhomme, Floyd Lippocott Jr., Jim Murphy, Don Enriquez, Don Ewald, Gary Cochran, Dave Condit, Bill Dunlap, Randy Bradford, “Pit Crew” Pete, Richard Schroeder, “Jet Car” Bob, and Jon McCourry — with more still to be added. The signed iMac is one of the prizes in the Standard 1320 Benefit Auction to be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Famoso Dragway.
The beneficiaries of the auction will be the children of the late Eric Fuller. Though he never owned or drove a race car, he was born into the sport. Fuller was the son of famed chassis builder Kent Fuller.
“Although drag racing was a huge part of his life, Eric chose to excel in other areas — like being the ideal father to his three children and the best husband he could to his wife, Linda,” Jim Greer of 1010TV told MacCentral. “On April 24, 2001, at the young age of 39, Eric’s battle with brain cancer ended suddenly — result of a heart attack. He left a wife and three children. This year’s auction is for them.”
There will be over 40,000 people at the event.
