Trinfinity Software has released Vortex 1.0, the first of the company’s visual plug-ins for Apple’s iTunes application.
iTunes lets users import songs from their favorite CDs and compress them into the MP3 format, and organize their music and create custom music CDs. iTunes can display graphics on your screen, while your music is playing, that moves and changes along with the music. An iTunes visual plug-in displays graphics in the iTunes window that varies color and shape as the sound changes.
Vortex, which is free, requires Mac OS 9.1 or later (including Mac OS X) and iTunes 1.1 or later. It’s available for download. Vortex for Mac OS 9 is a 14k file and Vortex for Mac OS X is a 105k file.
