Apple’s Macintosh Product Guide and their partners MacMall and CompUSA have updated their Web pages, adding new software and hardware bundles. The bundles range from Professional imaging kits to special pricing on software when purchasing OS X.
MacMall has posted several bundles aimed at people that specialize in imaging. Their US$3,699.99 Professional Imaging Kit includes a Minolta Dimage 7; Photoshop 6.0; an Epson Stylus Photo 1280 Printer; a Scanmaker 5700 FW Scanner; DVDR/RAM/CDRW Fast FireWire Rambo Drive; DVD-R 4.7 GB General; USB Pro Series A-B Device Cable, 6′; 4×5 Graphire Tablet USB; and a Pro Black Photo Case.
Several gaming bundles have been added to the site including a $54.99 starter kit that comes with Tomb Raider II; Unreal/Civilization II Bundle; Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 3rd Edition; and a Gravis Game Pad Pro USB. Other gaming bundles include Extreme Games Pack and an OSX Games bundle that comes with Tropico, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 and Tomb Raider Chronicles.
CompUSA is offering deals on MYOB AccountEdge and Nova Print Explosion among other software titles. With the purchase of Mac OS X, you can also get Unreal Tournament for $9.99.
Apple is offering a deal called Rock Your World, where you can buy a Harmon Kardon iSub for $59.00. Apple is offering the iSub at the online Apple Store and the retail stores.
Apple’s Macintosh Products Guide is a searchable database containing thousands of Mac products. Since before the introduction of OS X in March, the Products Guide has been tracking applications coming to the new operating system, in addition to those that will work with the Classic Mac OS.
