Mac CPU upgrade card maker Sonnet Technologies today announced price drops on nearly half of its line of G3 and G4 processor upgrades. The price drops go up to $50 depending on the specific model of processor upgrade you’re looking for.
The cards affected by Sonnet’s price drop include many of its Crescendo upgrade products — PCI G3 cards, 7200 cards and L2 cards. Sonnet has also cut prices on its PowerBook 1400 upgrades.
Sonnet has also cut prices on its Encore/ZIF G3 500/1M model, which works in various G3 and G4-equipped Mac models.
