The companies say their bundled products offer a comprehensive profiling and calibration system that can save users up to US$889. The promotion runs through the end of the year.
With the X-Rite spectrophotometers and MonacoPROOF ICC profiling software promotion, users can select either the manual Digital Swatchbook Tethered spectrophotometer, or the higher end automatic DTP41 AutoScan spectrophotometer. The MonacoSENSOR calibration instrument is included in each of the promotional deals.
MonacoPROOF is a $1,495 ICC color management application for Mac and Windows platforms that gives users control in creating ICC-based profiles for scanners, monitors, and printers. It interfaces with standard measurement devices. Profile editing allows adjustment to lightness, saturation and individual output curves. MonacoPROOF is targeted to reprographic shops, photo labs, commercial photographers, small print shops, and creative professionals.
The Digital Swatchbook Tethered spectrophotometer is a color management tool that works in conjunction with desktop computers and supports Mac and Windows operating systems (though it’s not Carbonized) to utilize measured spectrophotometer readings in conjunction with a collection of color software utilities called ColorShop 2.6. The DTP41 AutoScan spectrophotometer is a more advanced proofing instrument that provides single-button operation and automation, measuring 480 color patches in approximately five minutes.
The Digital Swatchbook Tethered spectrophotometer with MonacoPROOF is priced at $2,500 for the promotion, a discount of $649. The DTP41 Autoscan Spectrophotometer with MonacoPROOF sells for $3,500, a savings of $839 off the retail price. The DTP-41 UV Autoscan Spectrophotometer with MonacoPROOF sells for $3,700, a savings of $889. All bundle deals include the MonacoSENSOR colorimeter, which has USB connectivity.
