If you’re planning on attending Macworld Conference & Expo San Francisco in January 2002, you may want to go ahead and register. If you cruise on over to the Macworld Expo Web site, you can register for an Exhibits Only pass for free from now through Oct. 15.
Macworld Conference & Expo will take place Jan. 8-11 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. It’s the 18th annual Macworld Expo event. Expect a record crowd for the event. After all, this July’s Macworld Conference & Expo New York set a record with over 64,000 folks attending. The final attendance numbers contrast sharply with lowered attendance figures at other technology shows this year — most notably, PC Expo held at the same convention center just three weeks prior to MWNY. Macworld surpassed both PC Expo and Internet World as the largest annual technology event in the Big Apple.
The 2001 San Francisco Macworld Conference & Expo also set a record. Over 93,000 people attended, making it the largest gathering of Mac fans in the US ever.
