FWB CEO Stuart Saraquse said that no one wants to spend a lot of time learning to use backup software — they just want their data safe and sound.
“Like our award winning disk utilities, Backup ToolKit has an extremely user-friendly interface. The Configuration Wizard, Drag ‘n’ Drop backup management, and automated features make backing up your data a painless procedure,” said Saraquse.
BackUp ToolKit supports multiple backup configurations, mirror and incremental backups, folder synchronization, compression, and file exclusion management. The software is designed to duplicate the selected contents for backup on another mounted hard disk or removable storage system.
The software carries a suggested retail price of US$34.95. System requirements call for a Mac or PowerPC-based, 1MB of available RAM, hard disk or removable drive, and System 7 or later. FWB did not indicate if BackUp ToolKit was Mac OS X compatible as MacCentral went to press with this article.
