DockSwap 1.0, a dock switching utility for Mac OS X, has been released by piDog Software. DockSwap lets you save multiple Dock settings and access them later, according to developer Jim McKay.
The simple switching interface is accessed by pressing “Control-ESC,” he said DockSwap saves all Dock settings, including hiding, magnification and persistent applications/files.
It’s free to use, but the unregistered version is limited to two saved Docks. The price of registration is left to the “user’s discretion,” McKay said. More info and downloads are available at the DockSwap Web site. It’s developed with the REALbasic development environment from REAL Software.
