A few weeks ago MacCentral noted the iMac’s third anniversary. Now Apple has posted a page of birthday greetings from iMac customers. Apple noted on their Hot News page that they received nearly 700 e-mails from iMac enthusiasts after inviting users to wish the iMac a happy third birthday.
Testimonials posted on the pages of good wishes come in from actors, writers, musicians, professionals associated with a medical center, school, aircraft modifier and folks of all ages and walks of life. Although they come from diverse backgrounds and locations, they all have one thing in common — a love for the iMac.
For some, it’s meant something as simple as staying in touch with the grandkids, enjoying iTunes visualizations, or being able to work without having to worry about the problems and pitfalls they’d run into on Windows systems. For others, it’s been a transformative experience — one person describes how she’s been able to recover her language skills with the iMac’s assistance following some serious brain damage.
