Entries are now being accepted for the Seybold Seminars Digital Art Contest. If you’re interested you’d better hurry, the deadline is Sept. 7.
An independent panel of judges from the digital art community will choose the winning images from “Student” and “Non Student” categories. These images will be displayed at Seybold Seminars in San Francisco Sept. 25-27 at the Moscone Convention Center and on the Seybold Seminars Web page.
You can enter for free. The content is open to all residents and artists that work in the U.S. The Seybold Seminars Digital Art Contest is organized by Daryl Wise, the same curator responsible for the Macworld Digital Art Galleries at the San Francisco and New York Mac shindigs.
First place winners in both categories will receive hardware and software prizes, exposure for their work, and a “Platinum Pass” to Seybold San Francisco. Contest and gallery sponsors include Wacom, Corel, Hewlett Packard and Iomega. For more details, as well as an entry form, cruise on over to the Seybold Seminars Contest and Gallery page.
