The September installment of “The User Group Report” is online, and features an interview with Yuan-Yuan Sun of Macintosh Users Switzerland. Sun talks about this month’s Apple Expo Paris and Macintosh User Group’s part in it, the European User Group community and more.
You can find it at
The MUG Center, the resource site for MUGs (Mac User Groups). You can also find a summary of regional MUG events for the month.
Also, the second annual National MAC Users Encounter will be held in Buenos Aires from Sept. 6-8. Presented by [ALDEA]mac, Argentina’s largest Macintosh User Group, the event will feature 20 free seminars, four intensive-training work shops, a Mac museum, a users’ works exhibition and more. With an expected attendance of 2,000, it should be quite an event, according to Chuck Joiner, editor-in-chief of The MUG Center.
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to
Apple’s User Group Web page.
