The South Pacific Apple Developers’ Conference will be held in Auckland on Oct. 3. The conference is for folks involved or interested in development of products with technology from Apple.
“The event is intended to provide attendees with a chance to meet other people engaged in the development of free or commercial products/services with Apple Technologies,” Phillip Smith of Applied Technologies, one of the event sponsors, told MacCentral. “We hope that participants will be able to touch base on traditional Macintosh directions with tools like FileMaker, AppleScript and REALbasic, as well as look into newer development methodologies presented by Mac OS X with Unix, WebObjects and Cocoa.”
Participants can bring their own Mac if they wish. The cost is $40 per person, and there’s a limit of 50 attendees. The South Pacific Apple Developers’ Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sport North Harbour-Sport House, Auckland, New Zealand.
