Reuters reports that Vanity Fair magazine has published its sixth annual list of the top 50 leaders of the information age, and Apple/Pixar CEO Steve Jobs claimed the number ten spot.
The top ten list features notable information age executives like AOL Time Warner chairman Steve Case, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and CEO Steve Ballmer, Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone, News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch and others.
Vanity Fair utilizes factors like stock price, business performance and other factors to guide their decisions. Folks who have dropped down include Ted Turner, from 14th to 50th place, and Yahoo execs Tim Koogle and David Filo, who went from 17 to off the list completely.
