The Apple Developer Connection (ADC) is offering the first of several new articles on the Web site. The article is written by well-known Mac expert Danny Goodman and is called, Scripting for IE 5 Macintosh Edition.
This first article puts Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh up against IE 5 for Windows, and reveals the JavaScript secrets that separate the two.
For developers interested in cross-platform browser quirks, Goodman covers, in great detail, DOM implementations, event types, mouse position handling, and more, according to ADC.
The ADC is Apple’s source for technical and business resources and information for anyone developing for Apple’s software and hardware platforms. It includes programs, products, services and up-to-date technical documentation for existing and emerging Apple technologies.
