QuickTime Live!, being held October 8-11 in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, features 8 all day workshops, over 50 conference sessions, keynotes and a product showcase all focused on QuickTime. Speakers from Apple’s QuickTime engineering and marketing teams, and rich media professionals from around the world will talk to attendees about compression, content authoring, workflow and how to exploit all of QuickTime’s features including things like media skins, downloadable components and interactivity.
Apple engineers will also take attendees inside QuickTime workflow, teach you how to access unique features of the QuickTime platform, how to tweak content and QuickTime streaming server for performance, how to develop QuickTime tools and how to author content.
Other workshops at this year’s conference will offer in-depth training on Final Cut, Media Cleaner, QuickTime VR, Streaming, DV Content Creation. Special sessions called QuickTime Boot Camp will help people who are new to QuickTime authoring. For those who want to do QuickTime API development, conference managers are offering a workshop called, Intro to QuickTime Programming.
The theme of this year’s show is “Develop. Produce. Deliver.” Show organizers promise over 50 sessions on this concept throughout the event.
