Macromedia, Inc. today announced that it has postponed plans to hold its Macromedia Web World 2001 event. Macromedia Web World 2001 had been planned for September 17 – 20 at the San Francisco Hilton, but the tragic events of recent days have caused the company to reconsider the event’s timing.
Macromedia Web World 2001 itself was to be a four-day gathering to help users of Macromedia products design, develop, deliver and display Web content. The event included keynote speakers like Macromedia president Kevin Lynch and CTO Jeremy Allaire. It included 45 sessions and more than 25 speakers, including members of the Macromedia development team and independent industry analysts.
