MacCentral is pleased to announce today that we have partnered with Aladdin Systems to provide readers of MacCentral a new online store and a forum to discuss file compression issues with the experts.
A representative from Aladdin will stop by every weekday to answer tech support questions on the StuffIt family of products, or general file compression questions. This includes formats that are relatively new to many Mac users since switching to Mac OS X.
Readers of the Aladdin/MacCentral forum can also expect to see the latest news and tech support tips posted directly by the folks from Aladdin. If you have any tips or tricks to share stop by and post them to the forum.
“This forum will be the place for any question regarding Internet file access and compression,” said Peter Thomas, StuffIt Group Program Manager Aladdin Systems Inc. “If users want to talk about anything dealing with sending, backing up or storing files; or any type of decoding and compression, they should come to our forum and ask us.”
To celebrate the opening of the forum Aladdin is offering The Aladdin Essentials bundle, which includes StuffIt Deluxe and Spring Cleaning for $59.95.
Earlier today Aladdin announced StuffIt Deluxe 6.5 for OS X with many new features, including the return of the Magic Menu for OS X users.
