Maya, the 3D animation and effects package from Alias/Wavefront, has come to the Mac platform thanks to Mac OS X. And Apple is offering a series of seminar showing you how to take advantage of Maya on the Mac.
The seminar is targeted to professional video producers; post-production artists; motion graphics artists; Mac-based 3D artists and graphic designers; interactive media producers; those in corporate media departments; and game developers. You’ll learn the specifics of Maya, how it can be integrated into your production workflow and how Maya on Mac OS X makes your workflow more flexible.
Seminar dates are: Miami, FL (Oct. 2); New York, NY (Oct. 4); Chicago, IL (Oct. 9); Seattle, WA (Oct. 11); San Francisco, CA (Oct. 16); Santa Monica, CA (Oct. 18); Dallas, TX (Oct. 23); and Montreal, Quebec (Oct. 25). There will be two sessions per location from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
