M-Systems announced today two new higher storage capacities for its line of USB-based DiskOnKey storage products — 64MB and 128MB. The new higher capacity units come in different colors to help differentiate them from others. Now the line includes 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128MB products.
The DiskOnKey is a solid-state storage device smaller than a pen, which plugs into the USB port of a Mac or PC. The device is bus-powered, requiring no battery or external power supply. It mounts on the desktop like another hard disk. The DiskOnKey requires no drivers and is operating system independent, according to M-Systems.
Mac system requirements call for Mac OS 9.0 or higher. Windows 98, 2000, Me and Linux 2.4.0 or higher are also supported.
Suggested retail prices for the new 64MB and 128MB DiskOnKey is US$129.99 and $149.99 respectively. Visit the DiskOnKey Web site for more details.
