Picture Play, a Mac only application from Crescendo Software for creating compositions of many images, is now up to version 1.2.5.
The update adds a new window for setting up the name and dimensions when creating a new document. It incorporates the ability to work with centimeters, millimeters and inches, as well as pixels for layer sizing positioning and work area dimensions. Picture Play 1.2.5 also adds comprehensive Contextual Menus for the work area, covering all commands and the ability to paste text from the clipboard into a layer.
The new version also makes several cosmetic enhancements. Picture Play, made with the REALbasic development environment from Real Software, is an electronic collage for incorporating multiple images into a single artistic image.
To run it, you’ll need a Power Mac and Mac OS X 10.0.0 or later, or Mac OS 8.0-9.2.1 with the CarbonLib extensions installed. It costs US$10 for a single user license. You can download Picture Play 1.2.5 (it’s a 880 k file) from the Crescendo Web site.
