The folks at ing.Conti have brought their BCI 1.5 converter product to Mac OS X. It’s designed to quickly convert files from cameras with 72 dpi to other resolutions.
BCI 1.5 for Mac OS X allows you to add text or a filename to the image. You can specify where text is and in which color and what font. However, the main purpose of the app is to let you change resolution to 300 dpi.
Version 1.0.0 is free and available for download at the developer’s Web site (http://www.ingconti.com/Software/ConvertImage.html). Planned for upcoming versions are more integration with the Aqua of Mac OS X, more speed and a better look and feel.
