The new ex-tend-it DVI-Hub from Gefen, developer of computer interconnectivity solutions, is designed to extend two flat panel digital monitors up to 100-feet from the computer using high quality DVI (digital video interface) cables for transmission. That’s an increase of 50-feet from the previous version.
With the DVI-Hub, users have one source that outputs and extends two DVI signals. It’s targeted to folks who need a varied placement of multiple digital monitors and/or projectors and for professionals who need to add an additional digital monitor and place it anywhere within a 100-foot distance from their Mac.
The ex-tend-it DVI-Hub is priced at US$599.00. Gefen also makes other devices for users of Macs equipped with DVI video displays and graphics cards, including the DVI-Repeater, a DVI extender; the DVI-100, a 330-foot DVI extender; and the DVI to ADC Conversion Box, which connects Apple’s digital monitors to a DVI-equipped computer or ADC to DVI adapter.
